The first day of light practice, we did not have the "hot shoe sync" to attach my camera to the lights, so I just practiced with natural light and the silver reflector. The dead flower study is inspired by the work of Bob Francis, featured in the Color magazine 2009 Portfolio Contest Winners issue.
