In case it isn't obvious by now, I really don't often feel like writing on the blog. I really only feel like posting photographs. I don't know if that's really "okay" or not... perhaps I should actually be posting on Pinterest!! I really am trying to post pictures more often, however. Edited photographs mostly. Right now I am trying to do a bit of a project on winter and solitude/loneliness. A joint project with my sister.

The following is another one that I took on Christmas Eve during the huge ice storm that brought down many beautiful tree limbs. Of course the beauty of having brought down the street alone as that I got to touch it and hold it and put it on my car to photograph something ephemeral that I never could have saved otherwise.

Actually really close to home. Got lucky with the pretty little spot of red - someone's buried car, so sad.

Winter Bridge

This shot is also from Christmas Eve (2014), the one day the sun came out after snow then ice then more snow. Okemos. Edited with Camerabag2.

A frozen bud from a limb that fell during the crazy Lansing, MI ice storm right before Christmas. This was the only sunny day, after more snow had fallen. I am holding it in my glove. I wanted to keep this ball of ice so badly! Too bad some things are ephemeral.
